History of the park
Family owned Since 1995
In 1995, Gordon Krantz stepped into retirement with a vision that led him straight to Lake Fork, a place renowned for its prime bass fishing. This wasn't just about finding a peaceful spot to settle down; it was about creating something lasting. Along with his son Robert, who joined in 1996, they saw the untapped potential of Lake Fork — a chance to build the first RV and mobile home park in Rains County, transforming their frequent fishing trips from Houston into a foundation for the future.
Gordon, along with his wife Nancy, their son Robert, and his wife Cherry, all joined in to help the dream come to fruition.
Rolling Fork RV Park was born from a love for fishing and a commitment to family. Today, under the leadership of Robert and his wife Cherry, the park continues to thrive, with Nancy providing supervision to ensure the legacy of Gordon's dream continues.
The park has grown into a cherished destination offering a community where anglers and families gather, share stories, and enjoy the bounty of Lake Fork. Here, every visitor becomes part of the fabric of our history, joining a story that's as much about catching fish as it is about capturing moments that matter.
